The three areas chosen for this work are Plynlimon Mine, Cwmystwyth Mine and the drovers’ road behind the Teifi Pools leading to small mines; the land where miners walked to Ffair Rhos and to Rhayader.

The work in this exhibition is the beginning of a journey exploring the histories, stories and memories and physical realities about and around the mines in the Cambrian Mountains.

The end of the journey for the pieces will be the return to their origin in the mountains.

One day the casual passer-by may come across them and wonder.
